A BROTHEL in Weymouth was raided by Dorset Police and two Thai illegal immigrants were deported by immigration officials, a court was told.
In a joint operation by Dorset Police and the Immigration Service, a two bedroom house on Bath Street, Weymouth, was searched and just under £3,000 was seized.
DC Andy Stitfall of Weymouth CID appeared before Weymouth Magistrates to ask for a continuance order for the £2,911.86 seized during the raid on January 11.
He said: "Officers carried out a raid on the house and it was found to be running as a two-bedroom brothel.
"Officers found baby oil, sexual aids and pornography in the premises.
"Two Thai workers in the house were thought to be illegal and afterwards were arrested.
"In total £2,911.86 was seized and Dorset Police believe this to be the proceeds from unlawful earnings."
The court heard how two Thai women were arrested and then sent to an immigration centre before they were deported on January 18.
Magistrates granted the continuance of the seizure of cash order.
