David Lund, manager of Waterstones Castlepoint store said Jason's visit was the latest in a series of high profile celebrities visiting the branch.

He said: "It's a vote of confidence in Bournemouth. A lot of people in Bournemouth are interested in celebrity books. I believe Jason did perform many years ago at the BIC and has done a lot of touring around in his career.

"He is quite a colourful character. The book is not just about celebrity but the cost of celebrity and suffering with drink and drug addiction and his relationship with Kylie".
